Sports Mentoring

About the Programme

High-performance sport demands more than just physical ability—it requires mental strength, resilience, and the ability to thrive under pressure.

Jenny’s Sports Mentoring programme is designed to support young athletes in developing the mindset and strategies needed to perform at their best when it matters most.

How This Helps

Jenny’s one-on-one Sports Mentoring is tailored to each athlete’s needs, considering their level of competition, key tournaments, and specific challenges.

Sessions focus on:

  • Building a strong mindset – boost confidence and resilience under pressure.

  • Goal setting & planning – create clear objectives and actionable steps.

  • Managing nerves & focus – stay calm and in control in high-stakes moments.

  • Turning challenges into growth – develop a positive, proactive approach to setbacks.

Sessions are flexible and scheduled around competition timelines. Each session includes personalised pre-session questions, and athletes receive follow-up notes and action plans to reinforce learning.

Why Choose Jenny?

Jenny has helped young athletes in sports like rowing and hockey achieve personal bests, make teams, and elevate their performance. As an independent mentor, she provides a confidential space where athletes can speak openly without fear of it impacting team selection. Her coaching equips students with the tools to overcome self-doubt, embrace challenges, and perform at their peak.
